IBDP is one of the most rigorous and intellectually challenging boards available at the present time. It truly defines the word holistic development wherein children are taught to understand. It values practical learning and prepares an individual to tackle the real world obstacles. When looked at the programme, the research assignments and internal assessments provided are specifically designed to improve one's cognitive abilities. Apart from academics, programmes like CAS provide an opportunity to develop holistically. The components of CAS: Creativity, Action, and Service are something which we can find in our everyday lives. One of the main reasons why this board is very beneficial is because it allows the person to ask why. We in our society go forward with what we hear or what we see. It is of utmost importance for us to ask why. Without the question of "why" we will never be able to widen our intellectual capabilities.
